Following approval of the Board of Directors of JKSRTC in its 53^rd meeting held on January 7,1999 (which was presided over by the then Chief Minister, J&K State ), the JKSRTC converted a huge idle space as a Community & Business Centre (CBC) to generate additional resources by exploitation of SRTC assets. Quite aptly named as ‘Sangam’ Community and Business Centre, situated in the neighbourhood of the prestigious Bahu Plaza Complex near Railway Station, Jammu was inaugurated by the then Minister for Transport, J&K on June 10,1999.

            Situated away from the densely uptown area, Sangam provides a complete escape from the bustle of the City. The crescent green corners and the round shaped spacious green lawn are parts of the attraction. The luxurious 6200 sq.ft. Community Hall provides a unique refreshing environment and is already attracting attention of customers of the vibrant Jammu City. Suited to all the seasons Sangam has a very accommodating inside outside space and has the pleasure of wide and varied view. Sangam provides you a spacious Kitchen with an excellent parking place. Sangam CBC is most suitable for Wedding receptions and has also been designed as a fashionable business Centre.

            JKSRTC’s Sangam Community and Business Centre is committed to provide much more better modern facilities for holding marriage and other functions and looks forward for bookings from public as and when needed by them. For a function, the Sagam charges  Rs.16000/- per day which is normally less than the other Community Centres at Jammu.
